Information You Provide
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies results; North Andover Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Our host maintains standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of access. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand use of its pages. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where relevant, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
We use limited information to operate the service, resolve technical issues, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles.
External Websites
Links may lead to government records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. The privacy terms of those destinations govern information submitted there, including information submitted through sponsored search results provided by another company.
Who May Receive Information
Hosting and support providers process server-log information for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are kept only for the purposes described above. Because there are no user accounts, the service does not hold a user password or account profile to expose.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask to access, correct, or delete personal data a service holds. Because North Andover Residents Directory retains very little, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs, then removing applicable information. Use the Contact page to ask. No official source reviewed established a comprehensive, currently effective Massachusetts data-broker deletion law that creates a universal opt-out for every people-search business; use a broker’s own privacy channel and avoid submitting unnecessary documents. Public records are controlled by their custodian under M.G.L. c. 66, §10, its exemptions in M.G.L. c. 4, §7(26), and 950 CMR 32.00, rather than by this policy.
Policy Updates
Changes to this policy will appear here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
